Kotaku done good

Yeah, so one of my professors (Brenda Braithwaite) went to GDC to speak. Now she's on a Kotaku article. Pretty sweet. Click the embedded link to read the article.

Oh, and one more note. The cooking game is done, titled A Dash of Mayhem. Check it out here.

That's all for now.

May the Best Chef Win

Here we go. I started a project site for a little something that's going down in class right now. It's for a cooking board game, in case the title here didn't clue you off. Check it out if you like, and some criticism on the project would be helpful. That's all for now.

Glass out.

So it begins.

In case some of you haven't noticed (or are otherwise stuck in some time warp or black hole's wake), this is the first post to my blog. "But who is this bastard that's stealing all my megahertz and whatnot?" Well, I don't know. I'm just some lonely bastard that has so much free time that I can clog all the arteries of the interweb, byte by byte, with my ramblings. I play PC and Wii60 every other day. I friggin create things for games too. I never see the sun. Hell, I'm surprised I don't have some bizarre skin disease and watch Star Trek.

But enough of me. Let's move on to the blog. It's called Off Dose. No, not like the steroid -infuzed shrooms Mario eats that make him think flowers set him ablaze. [Actually, that makes sense now, seeing as how you can't pick up flowers until after eating the shrooms.] Anyway, the blog is named after my (fake) studio name. If I were to start up a game design studio, I'd call it Off Dose Games. There's a lot of reasons for that name, but I'd have to go into that later.

Basically, think of Off Dose here as a place for me to let out all my crazy ideas, show off some art, talk about gaming news, and maybe hold special events (pizza party anyone?). The quick and dirty description is that this is my place to hang out on the web.

It'll be fun. Thanks for dropping by, and please come back.
